This full-time role is in Des Moines IA. There is no remote work offered at this time and relocation is required. We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer who thinks strategically.
You will work strategically with Marketing and other business entities. The Full Stack Web Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining both front-ends (UX/UI) and back-ends for multiple existing Drupal platform websites and web applications. This role collaborates with the marketing team's stakeholders and teammates on creating best in class UX and architecture of web applications. This position is responsible for technical quality assurance, cross-browser issues, and usability issues as well as creating and building new experiences.
Skilled in Drupal or WordPress, React, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL, JSON, and Git
Excellent problem-solving, development, and debugging skills Strategic mindset - not just technical
Flexible and able to work effectively and proactively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Organized and can quickly prioritize multiple tasks
Effective communication (written and oral) and teamwork skills
Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
BS in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
3 to 8 years+ of web development experience
Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs
Built websites and web applications from start to finish
