People are changing jobs more frequently. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, most workers stay with their employers for just over four years and that number is declining. As many industry-wide benchmarking studies have shown, the cost of attrition for an organization is high—anywhere from 50 to 150 percent of a departing employee’s salary.
